Turns out there more than one Avatar this holiday season. The folks at ThinkChange have released the XmasAvatar for use on your Nokia Symbian device (S60 5th Edition). Once installed, you will have a jolly little animated Santa Claus wandering around on the homescreen of your mobile phone.

OK, he doesn’t do much – but I suppose he doesn’t need to, really. He wanders around, with his big, red sack slung over his shoulder, back and forth – up and down – across your screen. You can control the size of your personal St. Nick, and you can also set it up so that he will appear across your device – not just your homescreen – if you want.

He’s pretty darn cute as he marches around on your screen – he doesn’t have anything to say for himself, which would be kind of nice, but he’ll bring a smile to your face. And, he makes for a clever screensaver, too.
