There’s no way to sugar-coat this one … We’re on a mission to find the worst cooks on the planet. We know you’re out there! You know – you follow the recipe and it still comes out all wrong. Or worse, you have no idea how to even begin to follow a recipe, so you don’t even try. It’s sad really – but it doesn’t need to be that way.

Now let’s be clear, we’re looking for you really awful cooks because we care – we want to help you.

How can a blog about mobile apps help anyone become a better cook? Easy. As it happens, we’ve found an app in Ovi Store that we think can help anyone – even those of you out there who are convinced you are the world’s worst cooks – to become competent in the kitchen. And, we’ve enlisted the help of a real expert who will provide practical advice to the “winners”. (Yes, we know, it does seem a little funny to think of the winners as being among the worst, but this is the way we’re going to play it.)

So here’s what you do to participate:

All week long, we will be collecting submissions via Twitter from people around the world who can tell us (@ovidailyapp) why they are the world’s worst cook. For instance:

From among all of the entries we receive, we we will select the Top 5 – and again, let’s be clear, we’re looking for the neediest cases here! – and give you a chance to try a special app on your Nokia mobile device that we predict will have near-transformative powers when it comes to your cooking prowess. You will then be invited to share what you’ve learned with all of us here at the Ovi Daily App blog.

Additionally, our food expert will review the submissions from our Top 5, and offer his advice for what you might do to improve your skills.

So, stop hiding behind frozen entrees and take-out menus! We can all learn to cook a proper meal that even Mom would be proud to serve – and eat!
