Rule 1: A great game is easy to learn and difficult to master.

Rule 2: It should also be impossible to play without smiling.

I was constantly reminded of those two rules as I played Fling, a deceptively easy game that’s perfect for your Nokia touch  (Symbian OS – S60 5.0) mobile.

The rules are simple – touch, slide, and “fling” fuzzy balls into each other, knocking the target off the game surface. Proceed until only one fuzzy ball remains. I have to say, it’s the most fun I have had for $2.99 (USD) in a very long time.

The gameplay starts easy — that’s how they get you hooked. The longer you play, the tougher it is to get all the balls off the game surface. Most of the time the winking game balls made me smile — I knew I was having a tough day when it looked like they were mocking my puzzle-solving prowess

If you get stuck you can always touch the lightbulb in the lower right for a hint, but your current game counts as “failed” and it takes you longer to unlock the next level.

My words and a few screenshots don’t do this game justice. I would urge you to simply take my advice, and get this game from Zed Worldwide for yourself. If you like clever, problem-solving puzzlers, then you can’t go wrong with this one!
