Run For Your Lives! It’s The Simpsons Itchy & Scratchy Land! Just like in the classic Simpsons episode, Our Favorite Family’s theme park outing is ruined by Itchy & Scratchy ‘bots. Play as Homer, Bart, Lisa and Marge as they survive Explosion Land, Unnecessary Surgery Land, Torture Land and Searing Gas Pain Land. Kill the Kill ‘bots with Bart’s stink bomb slingshot. Build Bomb ‘bots with Lisa’s Robo-Generator. Blow ‘bots to bits with Marge’s vacuum gun. Life is a thrill ride with The Simpsons.

Graphics
As usual, EA has done a great job with the graphics in this game. Very clear, crisp backgrounds and super smooth animations make this game a true crowd-pleaser.

Game play
If you love the Simpsons, you will love this game. From the crazy situations that Homer gets into to the hilarious quips from all the classic characters such as Homer, Bart, and even the comic book guy (Jeff Albertson)!

Music/Sound FX
I am very impressed with the music and sounds in this game. The Simpsons theme song plays loud and clear, being sure to make all Simpsons fans happy campers.

Controls
I am using my Nokia N97 mini and the controls are pretty good. To control Homer, you need to touch the part of the screen you want him to move to. This proves a bit tricky, because often you will your finger blocking your view of the level. That’s a bit frustrating, as well as the ability to only play the game in portrait mode and not landscape. However if you play this on a non-touch the device the controls will be much easier with a keypad.

The Simpsons franchise has been a household name going way back to 1989! With such a loyal fanbase for over 20 years now, how could you go wrong with this game? My favorite minigames with in the game include using Bart’s slingshot to fend off robots, and using Homor bowling skills to navigate through levels. This game brings a ton of fun to the table, and really shows just how fun the Simpsons can be on your mobile device.
