We are all making efforts to help no matter how large or small the contribution and TripSketch Green Traveler is here to help us on our way. This award-winning app is an easy-to-understand travel guide that provides a range of eco-friendly activities to try out across various locations around the world.

TripSketch Green Traveler has been produced by TripSketch Corp and is available for free in Ovi Store. It is compatible with both Nokia Symbian OS – S60 5.0 devices and new Symbian devices like the Nokia N8.

The guide covers 79 cities across Europe, the United States and Canada, and recommends eco-friendly hotels, dining, transport, tours and attractions. It provides all the essential information you would need such as addresses, informative descriptions, opening hours, prices etc. It also provides a link to the relevant website if you need further information and you can find the location of the venue on maps.

My two favourite features though are the hot key to the phone number and the ability to add the activity directly into your calendar – super useful and super cool.

The app is enjoyable to use because of its simple layout, omission of images, and inclusion of only necessary functionality. As a result, even if you don’t consider yourself to be an eco-warrior, you won’t mind using this app to provide you with an eco-friendly alternative whilst on your travels.
