



(38 votes, average: 4.32 out of 5)Following the announcement of the three finalists, the developers presented their fully working widgets on the N97 in front of an audience of over 300 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo.
The Nokia panel to decide their fate consisted of the following:
The official winner of the Hackathon 2009 is the Social Location Widget.
Congratulations go to David Castro from Mexico who will be one of the first to receive a Nokia N97 which will be pre-loaded with his very own app.
Plusmo, the developers from California were presented with a cheque for €15,000 for their dedicated development over the past 24 hours.
Thanks to everyone involved for making this competition such a huge success!

Nokia way to go on choosing the winner who submitted an idea that SHOULD ALREADY HAVE BEEN PUT ON THE N97. There was no originality to this idea, all you had to do was listen to the N97 luanch and submit the idea off of what they said. I'm sorry Nokia but you truly have lost a once loyal customer.
