Looks like N900 has all needed to use as carkit. What do I mean?… It’s about handsfree speaker system using car audio. N900 has FM transmitter to send signal to car audio. Just only needed start/stop FM transmitter and phone by one button. Or better automatically in the car.
Nokia’s engineers already created simple carkits like CK-20W. They know how it must work very well.

I have an N95 currently connected to my AVIC-D2 car stereo via 3.5mm AV jack. This allows video playback on the 6″ touch screen…If only I could control the N900 via touch screen on a dash! A custom Auto PC using the N900 as its brain would be sick!

N 900 already connects with the car radio via the FM transmitter Only calls are not routed through it. I think a software update should do the trick
