I liked your submissions. Seems like I met my first robotic competitor…

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe we have a winner!
The Etch-a-Txt project is the one most similar to the sample projects provided, it’s easy to understand (but will still look a bit like “magic” to most people), it’s doable and it’s sure to grab some headlines in blogs and hacker’s sites.
Good job, and good luck with the selection!

Thanks
My initial idea was for the Nokia to take a photo and have the etch- a-sketch draw the pic. Initial technical finding told us that a). It was pretty hard to do the image manipulation. b). Someone else would have exactly the same idea!
So the etch-a-txt was born.

the etch a sketch is my favorite submission that I have seen. way cool.

I agree, how full of awesome is that! I would love to see the txt I sent it drawn on screen. Cool !

You still have to make it just to entertain us! think of it as a people’s choice award

lol, no matter how many people on here say that the etch-a-txt is great or their fav idea – the new winner is an Etch a sketch that draws pictures. I wonder how many other people thought of that idea? At least the txt version was different and more interactive from a display mode. Just text a message and it would do it’s stuff..
Close but no cigar…
